I have not had the opportunity to go to Japan and become a connoisseur of Japanese pastries, but I can say that I enjoyed these. I have ordered this twice and both have been delicious and surprisingly moist and extremely soft. They do have very similar undertones in the flavor palette, but I found them perfectly distinguishable. I live in America, so I certainly do not eat a tremendous amount of anything green tea or red bean flavored, but I found that the flavors were subtle and sweet, and I was extremely pleased with this purchase. It is worth noting that they are small though, smaller than the pictures give the impression for, but they are nonetheless well worth the price.
